Paterson YMCA Summer Day Camp Program

The Paterson YMCA Summer Day Camp Program is an eight week program that runs from the first week in July to the last week in August. It is open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 13. Children are divided into groups according to their age.  To ensure proper supervision, a 1 to 12 counselor to child ratio is established.

Summer Day Camp will equip your child with unique opportunities to learn and grow, create and explore.  We provide carefully designed programs and activites, a caring, dedicated, experienced and well trained staff along with a safe environment.  Through education, sports and fun we offer opportunities for both campers and staff to believe in themselves and to achieve their full potential.

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities to offer such as Swimming, Basketball, Flag Football, Dodge ball, Computer Class, and more.  From time to time outside organizations will come to our facility to do Arts & Crafts with our children.  We take weekly out of town field trips to fun places like the Bronx Zoo, Liberty Science Center and the NJ State Aquarium.

Each child will receive an official Paterson YMCA t-shirt that is to be worn the day of all field trips along with a duffle bag for their personal belongings.  They will also be served both breakfast and lunch daily.
