It's never too late to start an exercise program no matter what your age. Trained professionals at the YMCA can help you design a program that is appropriate for your age and physical ability.
If you haven't exercised in a while, or if you have special health concerns, be sure to talk to your physician or health-care provider before starting any kind of exercise program.
Youth is a state of mind. At the YMCA, older adults are involved in groups to develop new friendships and share common interests with others. The focus is on fellowship and community service.
Families increasingly join the YMCA both for adult activities and programs for their children. People ages 55 and over may join our Older Adult Program, designed for their particular needs.
