Program Mission
The mission of the Paterson YMCA Pre-School program is to promote vital educational and community programming that will enhance the mind, body and spirit of the preschoolers and their families.
The Paterson YMCA Pre-School program is an Abbott program that collaborates with the Paterson Board of Education to provide free education to residents with pre-school aged children residing in the city of Paterson.
The main goal of the Paterson YMCA Pre-School program is to provide children between the ages of three and four with developmentally appropriate experiences that will enhance their ability to succeed in future educational institutions. The Preschool Educational program supports the curriculum content standards developed by the State of New Jersey Early Childhood Educational Program Expectations Standard of Quality.
